Milly Johnson

About

Milly Johnson is a Sunday Times bestselling author of contemporary women’s fiction.

Milly’s novels celebrate women’s lives and are full of warmth and compassion with a unique brand of magic that reflects the importance of community, kindness and friendship.

In 2018, EDPR were engaged by publisher, Simon & Schuster, to work alongside their team to further build Milly’s brand profile and engage new readers.

Our partnership continues with five new novels promoted to date, including My One True North and I Wish it Could be Christmas Every Day in 2020.

What we did

Milly is also a proud Northerner – born and raised in Barnsley – and our brand focus was developed to play to these strengths. With strategic and sustained placement of high profile national media coverage including print interviews, features and broadcast plus the curation of year round events, Milly is now established as the fiction ‘Queen of the North’ and  one of the Top 10 Female Fiction authors in the UK.

Milly’s novels are all Sunday Times Top 5 bestsellers and millions of copies of her books are sold across the world. In January 2020, Milly was honoured with the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Outstanding Achievement Award, and she was a featured author in The Reading Agency’s Quick Reads and World Book Night campaigns for 2020. My One True North is currently shortlisted for the RNA’s 2021 Contemporary Romantic Novel Award.
